CareSens N Test Strips (No Coding)

CareSens N Test Strips are no-coding strips, meaning you don’t need to enter or match a code before testing. This makes checking your blood glucose quicker and easier.

Compatible meters: CareSens N, CareSens N POP, CareSens N Premier, and CareSens N Voice.

How to Use

A. Prepare the Lancing Device

  1. Unscrew and remove the adjustable tip.

  2. Insert a new disposable lancet firmly into the holder.

  3. Twist off the lancet’s protective cap and keep it aside.

  4. Reattach the adjustable tip.

  5. Select your preferred depth setting:

    • Higher setting = thicker skin

    • Lower setting = more sensitive/thinner skin
Rotate until the number lines up with the arrow.

  6. Prime (cock) the device by pulling the sleeve back until it clicks.

B. Prepare the Meter and Test Strip

  1. Wash and dry your hands and the testing area.

  2. Insert the square end of the strip into the meter with the contact bars facing up.

  3. Wait until the blood-drop/strip icon appears on the screen.

  4. Use the lancing device to obtain a small blood drop.

  5. Hold the strip vertically and touch the pointed end to the blood drop, allowing the sample to fill the small window on the strip.

    • You only need about 0.5 μL of blood (around the size of a pinhead).

  6. When enough blood has been applied, the meter will beep.

    • If there isn’t enough blood, the meter will show an error.

  7. Your result appears after a countdown (5 to 1) and is automatically saved in the meter’s memory.

Important notes

  • Insert the strip into the meter before touching it to blood.

  • No manual coding is required.

  • If no blood is applied within 2 minutes after inserting the strip, the meter will turn off.
