Famciclovir Once 500mg 3s

Famciclovir is used to treat recurrent outbreaks of cold sores in adults with a normal immune system.

Famciclovir works by stopping the production of the virus causing the cold sore. It does not cure the viral infection, but it helps to relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of an outbreak.

Active Ingredients:

Each tablet contains 500mg of Famciclovir as the active ingredient.

Dosage:

Follow all directions given to you by your doctor or pharmacist carefully.

For adults 18 years of age and over with a normal immune system.
Take all 3 tablets as a single dose as soon as possible after first symptoms of a cold sore appearing (e.g. tingling, itching or burning).

Warnings:

• Do not take this medicine if you have a weakened immune system.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist is you are breastfeeding.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney problems or have an increased risk of kidney problems.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if your cold sores symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse.
