Robitussin Cold & Chesty Cough 200ml
Robitussin Cold & Chesty Cough effectively relieves chesty coughs and nasal congestion commonly associated with the common cold. It is non-drowsy, sugar-free, and features a child-resistant cap for added safety. The raspberry flavor offers a more pleasant experience.
Active Ingredients:
Each 10mL of oral liquid contains:
Guaiphenesin 200mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10mg
Also contains: Benzoates, Hydroxybenzoates, Sucralose, Sorbitol (4.2g/60 mL). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
This product contains Sorbitol (23.6g/40mL) which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea in some people.
Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Do not give to children under 6 years of age. Contains benzoates, hydroxybenzoates, sulfites.
Dosage:
Children 6 - under 12 years- 5ml
Adults and Children 12 years and over- 10ml
To be taken orally, every 4 hours, if required. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.
Use in children aged 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner. Use the measuring cup included for accurate dose measurement.
Warnings:
Do not use this product if:
- The tamper-evident cap seal is broken or missing.
- You are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
- You have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within the past 2 weeks.
- You are under 6 years of age. Ask your doctor before use.
- You have a persistent or chronic cough related to smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema, or if you have a cough with excessive phlegm.
- You have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, or glaucoma.
- You have difficulty urinating due to prostate gland enlargement.
- You are taking medication for blood pressure, depression, or appetite suppression.
- You are taking other decongestants or sympathomimetic drugs.
- You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- You are taking other cough and cold medicines.
