Nurofen for Children Soft Chewable Capsules provide relief from headaches, pain, and fever in an easy-to-chew format, eliminating the need for water. Ideal for on-the-go use, these capsules offer effective pain relief when your child needs it most and are perfect for children who find it difficult to swallow tablets.
 
Nurofen For Children Soft Chewable Capsules provides temporary relief of mild to moderate pain such as a sore throat, dental pain, ear ache, headache, minor aches, sprains, strains and pain of cold and flu as well as fever reduction.
 
The easy to chew format does not require water providing effective relief on the go. It is suitable for children that find tablets difficult to swallow.

Active Ingredients:

Each capsule contains 100mg ibuprofen.
Also contains glucose, sucrose and soya lecithin.
 


Dosage:

Age of Child           Weight        Dose
7 years - 10 years    22-32kg      Two capsules
                                                    (max 8 in 24 hours)
 
10 years - 12 years  32-40kg       Three capsules
                                                    (max 12 in 24 hours)
 
Doses should be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours (or with a minimum of 6 hours in between each dose if required).

The product should be chewed before swallowing.
Children should take plenty of fluids.
 
WARNING:DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED DOSE.
 
 


Warnings:

Before Use:
Seek medical advice before use: In children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
With products containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or medicines taken regularly.

Do Not Take:

 

  • In anyone with asthma, except on doctors advice.
  • In anyone with a stomach ulcer, impaired kidney function or heart failure.
  • If allergic to ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines. In case of an allergic reaction, stop using and see your doctor immediately
  • In children of 6 years of age or less, except on doctors advice
  • In adults 65 years and over, except on doctors advice
  • During the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on doctors advice. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
  • For more than a few days at a time unless a doctor has told you to. Do not exceed the stated dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, liver damage and stroke.
