PROCTOSEDYL Suppositories are designed to relieve the discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles) and other painful anal conditions, such as fissures (tears).

Haemorrhoids commonly develop from straining during bowel movements, often linked to low-fiber diets, although other factors may also contribute.

PROCTOSEDYL Suppositories contains the active ingredients hydrocortisone, a steroid, and cinchocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic. These work together to reduce swelling, numb pain and relieve itching.
