Stains are located on the biofilm of saliva which is attached to the surface of teeth by calcium which acts as an adhesive for the biofilm.
The Yotuel Pharma toothpaste is able to safely and effectively whiten without HP or CP due to the inclusion of 3 key ingredients:
1. High structure silica.
The silica has been specially produced to be very effective whilst having the minimum abrasivity. This means we have the maximum cleaning capacity with the lowest abrasivity of 36 RDA. Think of this as the rollers in a car wash. They mechanically remove the stain.
2. Papaine enzyme - from the papaya fruit.
This enzyme breaks down the proteins in the saliva allowing the stain on the surface of the teeth (actually on the biofilm of saliva on the surface of the teeth) to be removed more easily.
3. Pyrophosphates
Pyrophosphates eliminate the calcium which acts as a link of union between the enamel and the biofilm of saliva upon which the stains are located.
