Fleurstat BVgel 45g
Fleurstat works to treat BV by disrupting the attachment of BV-causing bacteria to the vaginal wall. The gel then forms a physical barrier, preventing bacteria from reattaching.
Fleurstat BV Gel is simple to use, applied once daily for 7 days.
The most obvious symptom described by women with BV is:
- an unpleasant or ‘fishy’ odour.
- most often accompanied by a white or grey watery vaginal discharge.
Ingredients:
1% W/W Astodrimer Sodium (VivaGel ®)
Directions for Use:
Apply one applicator full (approximately 5g) into the vagina once daily, preferably at bedtime, for 7 days.
Warnings:
- Always read the label. Follow the instructions for use.
- Do not use for more than 7 days unless a doctor has told you to.
- It can be common for bacterial vaginosis to come back again after treatment. See your doctor if symptoms persist after 7 days or recur within 2 weeks of finishing treatment.
- See a doctor if you are diabetic or pregnant/ breastfeeding (or plan to be).
