A-Scabies Skin Lotion 30ml

A-Scabies is a medicated lotion for the treatment of scabies – an infestation of the skin by tiny mites that burrow into the skin.

The treatment of scabies. A-Scabies contains permethrin, which treats the underlying mite infestation rather than only the discomfort it causes.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: permethrin 5% w/w.

Directions

Apply the lotion thoroughly over the whole body, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Leave it in place for 8 to 14 hours, then rinse it off completely. One 30ml bottle is usually enough for one adult. Apply a second treatment after 7 days.

Warnings

• Avoid the eyes and mouth.
• Not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women, or for infants less than 2 months of age.
• Itching can persist for several days or weeks after treatment, even once the mites have been eliminated.
• Burning, itching, numbness, rash, redness, stinging, swelling or tingling of the scalp can occur. These effects are usually mild and temporary.
• Tell your doctor if you are using any other medicines, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
• Keep this product away from children's reach.
