Betadine Antiseptic Liquid Spray is used in hospitals and in the home for minor cuts and abrasions, and for minor skin infections. The spray format lets you treat a tender area without touching it. It is essentially non-irritating to skin, and will not permanently stain skin or natural fabrics.

Minor cuts, abrasions and minor skin infections. Betadine kills bacteria and fungi commonly responsible for wound and skin infections.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: povidone-iodine 50mg/mL, equivalent to 5mg/mL available iodine.

Directions

Spray onto the affected area 2 to 3 times daily. Wipe away from the cut, and cover the surrounding area well.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to iodine or povidone, or if the neck seal is broken. Do not apply heat before application. Do not use on large areas, deep or puncture wounds, or serious burns. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a thyroid condition. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children.
