Ingredients

Active ingredient: povidone-iodine 10% w/v, equivalent to 1% w/v available iodine.

Directions

Apply 2 to 3 times daily. For cuts, wounds and abrasions, apply undiluted and liberally to the injured area using a cotton tipped applicator or cotton wool. Wipe away from the cut, and cover the surrounding area well.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to iodine or povidone, or if the neck seal is broken. Do not apply heat before application. Do not use on large areas, deep or puncture wounds, or serious burns. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a thyroid condition. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children.
