Betadine Ready to Use Sore Throat Gargle is a medicated antiseptic gargle for sore throats. It is supplied ready diluted, so it can be used straight from the bottle with the measure cup provided.

Betadine Ready to Use Sore Throat Gargle kills bacteria that may cause a sore throat, and may be used as an aid in the treatment of sore throats. It is suitable for adults and children 6 years and over.

Ingredients
Active ingredient: povidone-iodine 1% w/v, equivalent to 0.1% w/v available iodine.
Also contains ethanol, menthol, methyl salicylate and saccharin sodium. This medicine does not contain lactose, sucrose, gluten, tartrazine or any other azo dyes.
Directions
No dilution is needed. Pour the gargle to the fill line of the measure cup provided (15ml) and gargle for 30 seconds. Do not swallow. Repeat every 3 to 4 hours if necessary.
Warnings
- Do not swallow.
- Do not use if you are hypersensitive to iodine.
- A severe sore throat accompanied by fever, headache, nausea or vomiting, or any sore throat lasting more than 2 days, may be serious – see your doctor.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Contains 96% alcohol and saccharin.
- Do not heat the solution.
- Follow the directions for use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
