ToothGuard with BLIS M18 is an oral probiotic lozenge for daily use alongside regular brushing. The lozenges are sugar free and peppermint flavoured, and dissolve slowly in the mouth.

BLIS M18 is a strain of Streptococcus salivarius, a beneficial bacterium that occurs naturally in the healthy mouths of adults and children. ToothGuard has been developed to support the health of teeth and gums when used in conjunction with regular brushing, by helping beneficial bacteria colonise the mouth and crowd out the bad bacteria.

Ingredients

Isomalt, tableting aids, Streptococcus salivarius M18 (contains at least 2.50 billion CFU per dose at the date of manufacture), natural flavour.

Directions

Slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth 1 to 2 times a day, ideally after brushing. ToothGuard works best if eating and drinking can be avoided for at least 30 minutes afterwards – the longer BLIS M18 stays in the mouth, the better the colonisation.

Warnings

• Do not take ToothGuard while you are using antibiotics.
• If you have an immunocompromised condition, consult your doctor before use.
