CANESTEN 6 Day Vaginal Tab 100mg

Canesten 6 Day Pessary is a six-day internal treatment for vaginal thrush. The pack contains six pessaries and one applicator, and may suit women who experience vaginal dryness or recurrent infections. The 6 day pessary may be the most suitable option during pregnancy – consult your doctor first.

Ingredients

Each pessary contains clotrimazole 100 mg. Contains lactose.

Directions

Use the applicator to insert one pessary gently and deeply into the vagina, once daily, preferably at bedtime, for 6 consecutive days.

Do not swallow. The pessaries are inserted into the vagina with the applicator and are not to be taken by mouth.

Warnings

• Do not take by mouth.
• Contains lactose.
• If this is the first time you have had thrush, talk to your doctor before using any treatment. Seek medical advice before an initial course of treatment.
• Consult a doctor if there is no improvement after 4 days, or if the symptoms return.
• See a doctor if you are pregnant or diabetic.
• Obtain medical advice if you are under 18, are unsure about use, or have had 3 or more thrush infections within 6 months.
