How to Use CareSens N Test Strips

1. Prepare the Lancing Device

• Unscrew and remove the adjustable tip
• Insert a new disposable lancet firmly into the holder
• Twist off the protective cap and keep it aside
• Reattach the adjustable tip

Adjust depth setting:

• Higher setting = thicker skin
• Lower setting = sensitive/thinner skin
• Rotate until the desired number aligns with the arrow

• Prime the device by pulling the sleeve back until it clicks

2. Prepare the Meter & Test Strip

• Wash and dry your hands thoroughly
• Insert the square end of the test strip into the meter (contact bars facing up)
• Wait for the blood drop icon to appear

3. Take a Blood Sample

• Use the lancing device to obtain a small blood drop
• Hold the strip vertically and touch the tip to the blood
• Allow the strip to absorb the sample (≈ 0.5 μL)

4. Read Your Results

• The meter will beep when enough blood is applied
• If insufficient blood is detected, an error will appear
• Results display after a countdown (5 to 1)
• Your reading is automatically stored in memory
