Ingredients
Each sachet contains:
- Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 3mg
- Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 700mg
- Vitamin C (from sodium ascorbate) 2850mg
Also contains natural flavourings and stevia.
Directions
Adults: mix the contents of 1 sachet in water or juice and stir well. Take 1 to 2 times daily.
Use tepid rather than very cold water so the powder dissolves fully.
Warnings
- This is a buffered formulation and is gentle on the stomach, but anyone with a sensitive digestive tract, ulcerative colitis or gastric ulcers may prefer to take it with food, or to lower the dose if bowel discomfort occurs.
- High doses of vitamin C may cause bowel discomfort, distension, diarrhoea and flatulence. Reduce the dose if these occur, and contact a health professional if symptoms persist.
- Individual requirements for vitamin C vary with the severity of illness and levels of stress, and a higher dose may be needed at those times.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: regarded as safe and well tolerated. Enhanced dosing should only be done under the supervision of a health professional.
