Coco-Scalp is a coconut oil compound ointment created by dermatologists to relieve irritating, itchy scalp conditions. It is not a shampoo and it is not a steroid treatment – it is a compound ointment that stays in contact with the scale while it works.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: coal tar solution 12% w/w, salicylic acid 2% w/w, sulphur precipitated 4% w/w.

Directions

Part the hair and apply a thin ribbon to the affected areas of the scalp. Leave it in contact for approximately one hour, then remove using warm water and a shampoo. Repeat the process daily for 3 to 7 days, or as directed by your doctor. For further information, read the enclosed leaflet.

Warnings

• Children 12 years or less: not suitable for use.
• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Do not use during pregnancy.
• Discontinue use if irritation or a rash develops.
• Do not use for prolonged periods except on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
• If your symptoms persist for more than 4 weeks, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Replace the cap and wash your hands immediately after use.
• Do not refrigerate. Discard the tube no later than four weeks after opening.
• Keep out of reach of children.
