How it works

Guaiphenesin is used for the relief of a mucus cough. It thins the mucus to loosen chest congestion, which helps you cough it up and clear your chest. Phenylephrine helps relieve blocked and runny noses.

Ingredients

Guaiphenesin 100mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 5mg per 5ml

Directions

Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml, one dose every 4 hours as necessary. No more than 6 doses in 24 hours. Not for children under 12 years.

Warnings

Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people. Sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Do not use if the cap seal is broken or missing.

Ask your doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, are taking antidepressants, or are pregnant. If coughing persists, consult your healthcare professional.

Tighten the cap after use to engage the child resistant closure. Keep out of reach of children.
