Coloxyl With Senna Tabs 30

Coloxyl with Senna combines two actions in one tablet: docusate sodium softens the stool, and senna stimulates the bowel to help move it along. Taken at night, it starts to work within 6–12 hours, so relief usually comes the following morning. A pack of 30 tablets.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:

• Docusate sodium 50 mg – a stool softener
• Total sennosides (calculated as sennoside B) 8 mg – a stimulant laxative derived from senna

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 or 2 tablets at night. Increase up to 4 tablets if necessary.

Drink plenty of water and increase the fibre in your diet.

Warnings

• Not for children under 12 years.
• Do not use if you have abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting, or if you develop diarrhoea.
• Do not use with other medicines or liquid paraffin unless advised by a doctor.
• Prolonged use of any laxative is not recommended and may lead to dependence.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a health professional before taking this product.
• Consult your doctor if constipation persists.
• Do not use if the cap seal is broken.
