Demazin Syrup Blue 200ml

Demazin Cold Relief Syrup is a double-action cold syrup for adults and children 6 years and over. A decongestant clears a stuffy or runny nose while an antihistamine settles itchy, watery eyes and sneezing. A 200 mL bottle in a peach and vanilla flavour.

• Watery, itchy eyes

Ingredients

Each 5 mL contains:

• Chlorpheniramine maleate 1.25 mg – an antihistamine
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 2.5 mg – a decongestant

Also contains hydroxybenzoates, sugar, alcohol (6.4% w/v) and sorbitol.

Directions

• Adults and children 12 years and over: 15 mL every 6 hours. Maximum daily dose 60 mL.
• Children 6–11 years: 8–15 mL every 6–8 hours. Maximum daily dose 32–60 mL.

Warnings

• Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
• Do not use in children 6–11 years except on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
• See your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure or heart problems, if you are taking antidepressants, antihistamines or other cold medicines, or if you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
• This medicine may cause sleeplessness.
• Avoid alcohol.
• Contains sorbitol, which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Do not use if the tamper-evident seal is broken.
