Difflam Anti-Inflammatory + Antibacterial Dual Action Lozenges 16 - Raspberry
Difflam Dual Action Lozenges combine an anti-inflammatory with an antibacterial agent to ease a sore throat and the discomfort that comes with it. They are sugar free and suitable for people with diabetes. A pack of 16 lozenges in Raspberry flavour.
Used for
Temporary relief from the symptoms of:
- Sore throat
- Pharyngitis
- Tonsillitis
- Mouth ulcers
- Swelling, redness and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat
- Pain following mouth or throat surgery
- Pain following dental procedures
The clinical efficacy of an anti-bacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.

Ingredients
Each lozenge contains:
- Benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg – an anti-inflammatory
- Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33 mg – an antibacterial agent
Contains isomalt.
Directions
Slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth as required. Do not chew.
Difflam lozenges work for up to 3 hours. For more severe cases, use every 1 to 2 hours. Maximum 12 lozenges per day.
Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed 7 days unless under medical supervision.
Warnings
- Do not use if you are allergic to benzydamine or other anti-inflammatory medicines. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking it and see your doctor immediately.
- Do not use in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
- See your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or likely to become pregnant.
- Do not use if the blister seal is broken or if past the expiry date.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed 7 days unless under medical supervision.
- If symptoms persist, see your doctor or pharmacist.
- Contains 31 g isomalt per 12 lozenges, the recommended maximum daily dose. Excess consumption of products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
- Incorrect use may be harmful.
