Difflam PLUS Anaesthetic Lozenges do three things at once: an anaesthetic numbs the pain, an anti-inflammatory reduces inflammation, and an antibacterial agent acts on bacteria that cause mouth and throat infections. They are sugar free, lactose free and gluten free, and suitable for people with diabetes. A pack of 16 lozenges in Blackcurrant flavour.

Ingredients

Each lozenge contains:

• Lignocaine hydrochloride 4 mg – an anaesthetic
• Benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg – an anti-inflammatory
• Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg – an antibacterial agent

Contains isomalt.

Directions

Adults and children 6 years and over: Suck one lozenge slowly every 2–3 hours, as required.

Warnings

• Do not use in children under 6 years of age, unless recommended by a physician, pharmacist or dentist.
• Because of the anaesthetic effect, do not have hot food or drink directly after using a lozenge.
• Contains 30.9 g isomalt per 12 lozenges. Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
• Incorrect use may be harmful.
