Doctors Best - High Potency Serrapeptase Capsules 90
Serrapeptase is a proteolytic — protein-breaking — enzyme derived from the non-pathogenic Serratia species found in the digestive tract of the Japanese silkworm, where the worm uses it to digest its cocoon. It has been used as a nutritional supplement in Europe and Asia for nearly three decades.
Doctor's Best Serrapeptase is protected by Serrateric, a molecular coating that shields the enzyme molecules from stomach acid. Once the enzyme-Serrateric complex reaches the intestine, the bile salts there break the coating down and free the enzyme to be absorbed.
Benefits
- Supports healthy sinus and airways function
- Supports healthy nasal function
- Supports healthy immune response
- Helps break down unwanted proteins
- Non-GMO, gluten free and vegan
Serrapeptase can break down inappropriate protein complexes in mucus, which supports a healthy balance between adequate mucus viscosity and elasticity on one hand and excess mucus on the other.
