Dolomed Ibuprofen Sodium tablets contain ibuprofen sodium dihydrate 256mg, equivalent to 200mg of ibuprofen, in a film coated tablet. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory that relieves pain and inflammation and reduces fever. Pack of 24 tablets.

Used for

Temporary relief of pain and inflammation associated with headache, migraine headache, tension headache, muscular pain, cold and flu symptoms, period pain, dental pain, sinus pain, back pain and arthritic pain. Also reduces fever.

Ingredients

Ibuprofen sodium dihydrate 256mg, equivalent to ibuprofen 200mg, per tablet

Dosage

Take with water.

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 or 2 tablets initially, then 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.

Children 7 to 12 years, 22 to 41kg: 1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours when required, up to four times daily. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Incorrect use may be harmful.

Warnings

Do not use in children under 7 years. Do not use if you have a stomach ulcer, if you are allergic to other anti-inflammatory medicines, in excess of the maximum stated dose, or during the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use if you are aged 65 years or over, if you have asthma, or if you are allergic to aspirin or ibuprofen.
