Ingredients

Each lozenge contains bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg and cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33 mg. Also contains saccharin sodium and isomalt.

Directions

  • Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 lozenges every 8 hours as required, to a maximum of 6 lozenges per day
  • Children 6 to 11 years: 1 lozenge every 8 hours as required, to a maximum of 3 lozenges per day, on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist

Do not use in children under 6 years.

Warnings

  • This medicine contains 15.5 g isomalt per 6 lozenges, the maximum recommended daily dose. Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
  • The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
  • Do not use if the seal is broken or the product is past its expiry date.
  • Do not use with other cough and cold medicines without the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.
