Duro-Tuss Chesty Cough Forte is a strawberry-flavoured liquid for a chesty, mucus-producing cough. It works in two ways: it breaks mucus down and thins it, so a cough that feels heavy and stuck becomes easier to clear.

Ingredients

Each 10 mL contains bromhexine hydrochloride 8 mg and guaiphenesin 200 mg. Also contains sucralose, saccharin sodium, sorbitol and sodium benzoate.

Directions

Adults and children over 12 years: 10 mL, up to 4 times daily (every 4 to 6 hours as required).

Children 6 to 12 years: 5 mL, up to 4 times daily (every 4 to 6 hours as required).

Do not use in children under 6 years.

Warnings

• Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
