EGO Derm-Aid 0.5% Cream 30g

DermAid 0.5% Cream is a mild, low-potency topical corticosteroid. The hydrocortisone is dissolved rather than suspended, so it penetrates the skin quickly, and the occlusive base holds moisture in while it works.

Used for

• Temporary relief of minor skin irritations, itching and rashes
• Eczema and dermatitis, and rashes from soap, detergent, cosmetics and jewellery
• Insect bites, psoriasis, sunburn and other corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions
• Occlusive base soothes and increases hydration
• Contains moisturisers to soothe dry, inflamed skin and help restore suppleness
• Free of lanolin, paraben and chlorocresol, and pH 5, to reduce the chance of a sensitivity reaction

Ingredients

Active: hydrocortisone 0.5% w/w.

Preservative: benzyl alcohol 3.0% w/w.

Directions

Apply a small amount to the affected skin 1 to 3 times daily.

Cleanse with a soap alternative, as soap may irritate the skin.

Warnings

• For external use only.
• Do not use in the eyes.
• Do not use on children under 2 years unless recommended by a doctor.
• Do not use for acne.
• Do not use under waterproof bandages, or for more than 7 days, unless recommended by a doctor.
• If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
