Enerlyte Sachets 10 Orange Flavour

Enerlyte is an oral rehydration powder that replaces the fluid and salts lost during a bout of diarrhoea. Each orange-flavoured sachet is mixed with 200 mL of water and drunk after a loose bowel motion. It is for adults and children.

Ingredients

Each sachet contains sodium chloride 0.47 g, potassium chloride 0.30 g, sodium acid citrate 0.53 g and glucose 3.56 g.

Directions

Fill the enclosed plastic measure to the 200 mL line with fresh, cold drinking water. For infants, use freshly boiled and cooled water. Empty the contents of one sachet into the water in the measure and stir well before drinking.

• Adults and children over 10 years: 1 to 2 sachets after each loose bowel motion, or 8 to 16 sachets per 24 hours
• Children 5 to 10 years: 1 sachet after each loose bowel motion, or 6 to 12 sachets per 24 hours
• Children under 5 years: refer to the box for dosages by weight

Warnings

• Use water only to mix Enerlyte. Never dilute with lemonade, soft drinks, cordials or any fluid other than water.
• Do not boil the solution once it is made up.
• Made-up solution may be kept in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Otherwise, discard unused solution within one hour.
