Epicyn is a silicone-based gel for scars. Skin damaged by burns, injury, surgery or other trauma forms scar tissue, and where the result is prominent — a hypertrophic or keloid scar — a silicone gel can reduce how much it shows.

Epicyn combines silicone gel with the brand's MicroHeal super-oxidised solution technology. It is pH neutral, odourless and suitable for all skin types, and it can be used from day one, immediately after the wound appears or after post-surgical sutures.

Used for

Epicyn is intended for the management and reduction of new and existing hypertrophic and keloid scars, and as an adjuvant in the wound healing process for wounds that can only heal by secondary intention in the maturation phase.

  • Reduces scar characteristics including redness, hardness and elevation, and the colour difference compared with normal skin
  • Moistens the scar while forming a protective barrier against physical, chemical and microbial invasion
  • Can be used from day one, immediately after the wound appears or after post-surgical sutures
  • pH neutral, odourless and suitable for all skin types
