Famciclovir Once is used to treat recurrent outbreaks of cold sores in adults with a normal immune system. It works by stopping the production of the virus causing the cold sore. It does not cure the viral infection, but helps relieve symptoms and shorten the duration of an outbreak. Pack of 3 tablets, a single dose.

Ingredients

Famciclovir 500mg per tablet.

Dosage

For adults 18 years and over with a normal immune system: take all 3 tablets as a single dose, as soon as possible after the first symptoms of a cold sore appear, such as tingling, itching or burning.

Follow all directions given to you by your doctor or pharmacist carefully.

Do not take this medicine if you have a weakened immune system. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
