FESS Nasal & Sinus Wash Extra Strength is a non-medicated hypertonic saline wash. A hypertonic solution is saltier than ordinary saline, so it gently draws liquid out of the sinuses and helps break down mucus. The higher salt concentration also helps where swelling and mucus build-up are heavier.

Product details

Ingredients

Each sachet contains sodium chloride 20 mg/g, sodium bicarbonate and xylitol.

Directions

• Boil 200mL of water and let it cool until lukewarm. Do not use boiling water.
• Empty the contents of one sachet into the FESS wash bottle.
• Pour the lukewarm water into the bottle up to the FULL line. Screw the cap on and shake gently until the powder dissolves.
• Lean over a basin and place the cap gently inside your right nostril.
• Keeping your mouth open, squeeze the bottle in a pulsing action.
• Let about half the solution wash through and come out of the left nostril, then repeat on the other side.

Because it is non-medicated it can be used as often as required. The bottle is a mixing bottle for convenience only and is not a measuring device.
