Ingredients

Each capsule contains loperamide hydrochloride 2mg.

Contains sugar as lactose.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose motion, up to a maximum of 8 capsules in 24 hours.

Warnings

• Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
• Before taking, see your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a fever, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea or an ongoing condition affecting the bowel.
• If the condition persists after two days of treatment, seek medical advice as soon as possible.
• Drink plenty of fluids, as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur with diarrhoea. If dehydration is suspected, seek medical attention.
• Do not take if you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided.
• This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery.
