Gaviscon Dual Action brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion. It works in two ways: the antacid neutralises excess stomach acid to relieve discomfort, and the sodium alginate forms a protective raft over the stomach contents to soothe the burning pain in your chest.

Ingredients
Each 10ml dose contains sodium alginate 500mg, sodium bicarbonate 213mg and calcium carbonate 325mg.
Contains hydroxybenzoates, saccharin and sodium. Does not contain aluminium, sugar, gluten or artificial colouring.
Directions
Adults and children over 12 years: 20ml, up to 4 times a day.
Children 6 to 12 years: 10ml, up to 4 times a day.
Take after meals and 30 minutes before bedtime.
Warnings
- Not recommended for children under 6 years.
- The maximum total daily intake for adults (80ml) contains 1,023mg of sodium — take this into account if you are on a low sodium diet.
- Contains hydroxybenzoates, saccharin and sodium.
- Store below 30°C, but do not refrigerate.
- Keep out of reach of children.
