Habitrol Patches 14mg Step 2 7 Patches
Habitrol patches are a form of nicotine replacement therapy. They help relieve nicotine withdrawal symptoms by releasing a small, controlled amount of nicotine through the skin over 24 hours. Withdrawal symptoms can include craving for tobacco and the desire to smoke, irritability, moodiness, restlessness, tenseness, anxiety, a feeling of hunger, weight gain, difficulty concentrating and sleep disturbances.
Habitrol is a three step, step-down programme. The dose of nicotine delivered decreases as you move from Step 1 through to Step 3, so your nicotine dose is reduced gradually rather than stopped suddenly.

Directions
Apply one patch at the same time every day. Press the patch firmly onto clean, dry, non-hairy skin on the trunk or upper arm, holding it in place for 10 to 20 seconds. Choose a different site each day and do not re-apply to previously used skin for 3 days.
Apply the patch as soon as it has been removed from the child-resistant pouch. Wash your hands thoroughly after application, to avoid irritating your eyes with nicotine from your fingers. After removal, dispose of used patches carefully and keep them out of sight and reach of children.
If you smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day, start on 21mg patches (Step 1). If you smoke less than 20 a day, start on 14mg patches (Step 2). Read the full instructions enclosed for the three step programme.
