Ingredients
Active ingredients in each 5ml dose: nettle leaf 1,320.5mg, withania root 857mg, codonopsis root 475.5mg and iron chelate bisglycinate 36.07mg (equivalent to iron 6.85mg).
Base: fruit and vegetable concentrates including New Zealand blackcurrant, spinach, organic beetroot, organic carrot and blood orange, plus chicory root fibre, vegetable glycerine, natural flavours, citric acid and water. This low sugar formulation contains less than 0.66g of sugar per 5ml dose.
Directions
Adults: take 5ml three times per day, or a single dose of 15ml once per day if preferred.
Children 1 to 5 years: 5ml per day.
Children 5 to 10 years: 5ml twice per day.
Children 10 years and over: 5ml two to three times per day.
The recommended daily dose of 15ml complies with the current regulatory requirement of not more than 24mg of iron per day.
Warnings
- Can be taken long term provided regular tests are undertaken to ensure no excess iron accumulation.
