Hartmann Hydrocoll Thin 7.5cm x 7.5cm
Hydrocoll is a self-adherent hydrocolloid dressing with an absorbent layer and a semi-permeable outer cover that blocks both organisms and water. When it contacts wound exudate, the hydrocolloids convert into a gel, creating a moist environment that promotes granulation and epithelialization, supporting the healing process.
The thinner hydrocolloid dressing with the lower absorption capacity is used in preference during epithelization stage.
