Hartmann Hydrofilm is a sterile, self-adhesive transparent film dressing. It is thin enough to conform to body contours and lets you see the wound without lifting the dressing. Size 6cm x 7cm, box of 100.

Used for

Protection against bacterial penetration, external contaminants and mechanical irritation of dry or only slightly exuding, primary healing wounds, and of almost healed epithelising wounds. Also used for securing wound dressings, catheters and cannulas.

Directions

Clean and dry the wound area before application. Remove the backing, apply the film smoothly over the area without stretching it, then remove the top carrier layer.

• Must not be used as a primary dressing on clinically infected, bleeding or highly exudative wounds.
• Single use only. Do not re-use.
• Inspect the packaging carefully before opening. Do not use if there are visible signs of damage such as cracks, channels, pinholes, or non-uniform, torn or incomplete seals.
• Adverse reactions may occur in people who are allergic or hypersensitive to acrylic adhesives.
• Shave hairy skin before application.
