Ingredients

Each tablet contains loperamide hydrochloride 2mg.

Directions

Peel back the foil from the blister pocket and carefully press the tablet upwards to remove it. Do not push the tablet through the foil and do not crush it. Place the tablet on your tongue, where it dissolves without the need for water.

Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose, unformed stool as needed.

No more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. Use for no longer than 48 hours.

Warnings

  • Do not use if you have a condition where constipation should be avoided.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years.
  • Do not use if you have previously had a rash or allergic reaction to products containing loperamide.
  • Do not use if the carton seal or perforated section is broken or missing, or if the blister foil is broken.
  • Do not use for longer than 48 hours. If symptoms persist after 48 hours, consult your healthcare professional.
