Ingredients

Lactulose solution BP 3.34g per 5ml.

Directions

Habitual constipation: initially 15 to 45ml as a single dose. Maintenance: up to 45ml in divided doses.

Portal systemic encephalopathy, hepatic coma and pre-coma (under medical supervision only): initially 30 to 50ml three times daily, then adjusted to produce two or three loose stools per day. This use must be directed and monitored by a doctor.
