Lamisil Once is an antifungal treatment for athlete’s foot (tinea pedis interdigitalis) that requires only a single application. After the formula is spread on the skin an invisible film forms, which allows the active ingredient to keep working on the fungal infection over a period of days without further applications.

Directions

Lamisil Once is applied ONCE ONLY. Each tube is designed for a single application and contains enough to treat both feet. For best results, feet should not be washed or allowed to get wet for 24 hours after application.

  • Wash both feet and hands and dry thoroughly.
  • Remove the cap and apply to both feet, even where the skin looks healthy — most people with athlete’s foot have infection on both feet even when symptoms show on only one.
  • Use roughly half the tube for each foot. Finish one foot before treating the other.
  • Apply with the fingers: first between, under and all over the toes, then over the sole and sides of the foot. Treat the whole foot, as not all infected areas show symptoms.
  • Spread quickly and evenly. Do not massage into the skin, and do not apply a second application.
  • Leave to dry for 1 to 2 minutes, until it forms a colourless film.
  • Replace the cap and discard any remaining product. Do not keep it or give it to other people.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after application. You may wear socks and shoes once the film has dried.

The film will continue working for several days after the single application. Your skin should start to improve within a few days, although it may take up to 4 weeks to heal completely. See your doctor or pharmacist if there is no improvement one week after applying.

To help with treatment: keep the affected area clean by washing it regularly after the first 24 hours, and dry the skin thoroughly without rubbing. Try not to scratch, as this can cause further damage, slow healing and spread the infection. Keep your own towel and clothes separate, and wash clothing, socks, bedding and towels frequently to protect against re-infection.

Warnings

  • Not recommended for use on children under 15 years.
  • Use with caution where your skin is inflamed or broken.
  • Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
  • Apply after a shower or bath, then wait 24 hours before washing your feet again.
  • If there is no improvement after the recommended time, see your doctor or pharmacist.
