Lamisil DermGel is a gel formulation for treating tinea infections, including athlete’s foot. It is non-greasy, dries quickly and gives cooling relief from the symptoms of tinea while actively treating the infection. Because it is easy to apply to hairy areas, it suits jock itch (tinea cruris), and it is a good choice where large areas of the body need treatment.

  • Non-greasy and dries quickly
  • Gives cooling relief from the symptoms of tinea
  • Easy to apply to hairy areas and to large areas of the body

Product details

  • Dosage form: Topical gel
  • Pack size: 15g
  • Course: Once daily for 7 days
  • Brand: Lamisil

Ingredients

Terbinafine 10mg/g.

Directions

Apply Lamisil DermGel once a day for 7 days.

  • Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of skin.
  • Use enough gel to treat the infected skin and the surrounding area, and rub in gently.
  • If applying between the toes or fingers, between the buttocks, under a breast or armpit, or in the groin, cover the area with gauze after applying. This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Lamisil DermGel should only be applied to skin on the outside of the body. Wash your hands thoroughly after application to avoid spreading the infection to other parts of your body.

Warnings

  • For external use only. Do not use on nails or scalp, in or near the mouth or eyes, or for vaginal yeast infections.
  • Do not get the gel into the eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if too much irritation occurs or gets worse.
  • Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control centre right away.
  • Do not use if the seal on the tube is broken or is not visible.
  • The signs of infection may disappear after only a few days, but it is important to continue treatment for the recommended period, or the infection may return.
  • If there is no improvement after the recommended time, see your doctor or pharmacist.

Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
