Ingredients
Each tablet contains 100mg of iron as iron polymaltose (370mg iron polymaltose).
Free from gluten, lactose, dairy, soy and yeast. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Directions
Treatment of iron deficiency — adults and adolescents 12 years and over: take 1 to 2 tablets (100 to 200mg of iron) daily, preferably with food.
Prevention of iron deficiency — adults and adolescents 12 years and over at high risk: take 1 tablet (100mg of iron) daily, preferably with food.
Higher doses may be taken as directed by your medical practitioner.
Warnings
- Always take Maltofer exactly as your medical practitioner or pharmacist has instructed. Check with them if you are not sure.
- Maltofer tablets contain 100mg of elemental iron and should not be divided to take lower doses. Where a lower dose is required, use the Maltofer oral liquid forms.
- Not for use in children under 12 years of age.
- Iron supplements should not be taken for more than 12 months without consulting your healthcare professional.
- Discuss with your healthcare professional if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
- Keep out of reach of children.
