MICREME 2% Vaginal Cream 40g
Micreme Vaginal Cream is an antifungal medication used to treat candidal fungal infections (thrush) of the vagina. It contains miconazole nitrate, a broad spectrum antifungal. 40g tube.
Used for
Treatment of candidal fungal infections of the vagina, commonly known as thrush.
Vaginal thrush is caused by an overgrowth of Candida, a yeast fungus normally kept in balance by other micro-organisms. Symptoms can include vaginal itching, soreness, a white odourless discharge, and pain during intercourse.
Diabetes, obesity, illness and fatigue can increase susceptibility to the condition, as can hormonal changes during pregnancy, at certain points in the menstrual cycle, or from the oral contraceptive pill.
