Ingredients

Each tablet contains magnesium hydroxide 400mg, dried aluminium hydroxide 400mg and simethicone 30mg.

Directions

Chew 1 to 2 tablets as required, after meals and half an hour before going to bed. The dose may be increased to 4 tablets if required.

Warnings

  • Consult your doctor if you have been taking Mylanta continuously for 14 days.
  • Consult your doctor if symptoms include vomiting, or blood or coffee-grain-like material in the faeces.
  • Consult your doctor before use in children under 12 years of age.
  • Consult your doctor before use if you have kidney disease.
  • Do not take Mylanta within 2 hours of taking any other medication unless advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Mylanta may reduce the effectiveness of some medications.
  • Do not take Mylanta within two hours of taking any medication for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, arthritis, gout, or bacterial or fungal infection.
  • If pregnant, do not exceed the recommended dose unless under medical supervision.
