Mylanta 2Go Original provides quick relief from indigestion, heartburn, upset stomach, flatulence and wind pain. The antacids neutralise excess stomach acid, while the anti-flatulent component relieves wind pain by dispersing gas bubbles in the stomach.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains magnesium hydroxide 200mg, dried aluminium hydroxide 200mg and simethicone 20mg.

Directions

Chew 2 to 4 tablets as required, after meals and half an hour before going to bed. The dose may be increased to 8 tablets if required.

Warnings

• Consult your doctor if you have been taking Mylanta continuously for 14 days.
• Consult your doctor if symptoms include vomiting, or blood or coffee-grain-like material in the faeces.
• Consult your doctor before use in children under 12 years of age.
• Consult your doctor before use if you have kidney disease.
• Do not take Mylanta within 2 hours of taking any other medication unless advised by your doctor or pharmacist. Mylanta may reduce the effectiveness of some medications.
• Do not take Mylanta within two hours of taking any medication for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, epilepsy, arthritis, gout, or bacterial or fungal infection.
• If pregnant, do not exceed the recommended dose unless under medical supervision.
• Occasionally constipation or diarrhoea have been reported, usually only during high dose therapy. A small reduction in dosage may alleviate these symptoms.
