Ingredients

Each 5 mL contains promethazine hydrochloride BP 5 mg.

Directions

Allergic disorders — children 2 to 5 years: 5 mL as a single dose at night, or 5 to 15 mL 2 to 3 times a day.

Sedation — children 6 to 12 years: 10 to 25 mL as a single dose at night, or 10 mL 2 to 3 times a day. For short-term use on the advice of a doctor or pharmacist; do not use for more than 7 to 10 consecutive days.

Travel sickness: children 2 to 5 years, 5 mL; children 6 to 12 years, 10 mL. Take as a single dose the night before travel, repeated after 6 to 8 hours the following day if necessary.

Nausea and vomiting — children 2 to 5 years: 5 mL every 4 to 6 hours, to a maximum of 15 mL daily. Children 6 to 12 years: 10 mL every 4 to 6 hours, to a maximum of 25 mL daily.
