Razene is a non-drowsy antihistamine containing cetirizine. It begins working within 10 to 20 minutes and lasts 24 hours, so it is taken once a day.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: cetirizine hydrochloride 10 mg per tablet.

Also contains: lactose, pregelatinised maize starch, povidone and magnesium stearate. The film coat contains hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, titanium dioxide and macrogol. Gluten free.

Directions

Adults and children over 12 years: the usual dose is one tablet (10 mg) daily as a single dose. Some people may only require half a tablet if they feel drowsy on the full dose, and some people with kidney problems may need a reduced dose.

Warnings

  • Do not take Razene if you are allergic to any medicine containing cetirizine, or to hydroxyzine, another antihistamine related to cetirizine.
  • Razene tablets contain lactose. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.

Adults and children over 12 years: The usual daily dose is 1 tablet (10 mg).
