A callus is hard, thickened skin, and the salicylic acid in each medicated disc works as a keratolytic to break it down. The soft cushioning pad takes the pressure off while that happens, and the disc system keeps the medication on the callus rather than on the skin around it.

Ingredients

Each medicated disc contains salicylic acid 40%.

Directions

Ensure feet are clean and dry. Remove the brown adhesive disc from the backing paper and place it firmly on the centre of the callus. Remove the cover pad from the backing paper, place it centrally over the medicated disc, and press gently for a few moments so it sticks in place.

Apply daily for up to 14 days. Allow the callus to loosen naturally rather than picking at it, and continue to protect the area with pads until it has fully healed.

Warnings

• Do not apply to healthy or normal skin.
• Do not use if the callus or the surrounding skin is inflamed or broken.
• Do not use if you are sensitive to aspirin.
• Do not use for more than 14 days, except on medical advice.
• Not suitable for people with diabetes or severe circulatory disorders, except with a doctor's permission.
• Children under the age of sixteen years should seek medical advice before use.
