ALLEVYN ADHESIVE is a three-layer, highly absorbent dressing designed for moderate to heavy exudate. It is self-adhesive, waterproof, and can remain in place for up to seven days. Its triple-layer technology effectively manages exudate, promoting a moist wound healing environment. ALLEVYN ADHESIVE Hydocellular Foam Dressing has an advanced triple-layer construction that combines an absorbent hydrocellular pad between a perforated adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film that aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination of the wound.

 

The advanced triple-layer construction facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide the optimal wound environment, which promotes moist wound healing and may help minimize the risk of maceration. The backing film aids in the prevention of fluid and bacterial strikethrough. The dressing can be left in place without the need for secondary fixation and is both easy to apply and remove.
