Strepfen Intensive Throat Spray delivers an anti-inflammatory medicine directly to the back of the throat, where a severe sore throat is at its most painful. Each metered dose combines analgesic and anti-inflammatory action, and relief lasts for up to six hours.

Ingredients

Flurbiprofen 8.75mg per dose of 3 sprays. Contains hydroxybenzoates.

Directions

One dose (3 sprays) to the back of the throat every 3 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 5 doses (15 sprays) in a 24 hour period. Do not inhale while spraying, and do not eat or drink immediately after use.

Warnings

• Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increases the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.
• Do not use for more than 3 days.
• Do not use if you have stomach ulcers, impaired kidney function or heart failure.
• Do not use if you are allergic to flurbiprofen or to other anti-inflammatory medicines.
• Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
• Do not use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
• If you have asthma, are trying to become pregnant, or are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, use only on the advice of a doctor.
• Do not use with other products containing flurbiprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines, or with medicines you take regularly, unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
• Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you have an allergic reaction.
• If symptoms persist, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
