Strepsils Plus lozenges add a local anaesthetic to the familiar Strepsils formulation, numbing the pain of a medium to more troublesome sore throat while two antibacterial agents help kill the bacteria that can cause sore throats and mouth infections. Ingredients
Each lozenge contains lignocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 10mg, dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg and amylmetacresol 600 micrograms.
Each lozenge also contains sucrose, glucose and saccharin.
Directions
Adults and children over 6 years: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as required. No more than 8 lozenges to be sucked in any 24 hour period.
Warnings
- Do not take hot food or drink soon after using this product, as it may burn your mouth.
- Not suitable for children 6 years and under.
- If symptoms persist for more than two days accompanied by fever, headache or nausea, consult your doctor.
- Do not use if the foil seal is broken.
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
